The Barlilian race: one of the first intelligent extraterrestrial species the human race encountered. The Barlilian war machine first rose it’s head to our planet in the year 2173. The Vinetians aided us in delaying the invasion until an as-of-yet undefined date.
Biology The Barlilians evolved on an incredibly harsh world. They use a silicon-based body chemistry in their metabolism. They breath chlorine gas, a large component in Barlil’s atmosphere. Body waste takes the form of silicon tetrachloride, which is released as a misty fog through the dorsal breathing vents.

Vinet. A tiny, backwater world on the farthest tip of the Orion arm in the milky way galaxy, and home to one of the most advanced species in the galaxy. Vinet orbits a red-dwarf star in a time frame of about 231.7 earth days. The day also lasts 231.7 earth days, resulting in a moon-earth like relationship between Vinet and her home star. One side perpetually faces the star, the other encapsulated in night sky. Her system is shared with her two moons, Raeus and Tylo, as well as a large gas giant named D’almo. They are separated by a proverbial wall of rock in the form of an asteroid belt
